“Microgrammes”
exposição de Gregory Le Lay 04/10-30/11/2018
Pt
Made with primary colours and infantile imagery,
Microgrammes tackles the idea of perception, transformation, passage.
Microgrammes takes its inspiration from fragments of Pinocchio's story to talk about
the complexity of beingin-the- world.
"Microgrames" is the title of the exhibition that will be at Galeria Brui, at Rua D'Agoa, nº46, until November 30th. Here the cinema, literature and children's imaginary are evoked, breathing curiously a delicate and attentive look at the so-called plastic arts. In this first presentation there is an allusion to the popular and children's codes of representation, assumed in a playful way. Visiting this exhibition at Galeria Brui is, therefore, to walk in a fortuitously new and puerile space that offers us another perspective on what is real size and what is the miniature in the representation of the "objects" on display. Thus, we enter this gallery on the condition of increasing our knowledge of the author behind this auspicious and amusing proposal, as well as the possibility of broadening our field of perception. It is certain that these works point to a change/decrease in the perspective of those who perceive, investing in the deformation of the scale and, with the help of imagination, embracing any other dimension, having as literary company, Robert Walser and Pinocchio, by Carlo Collodi, in a tour of an exhibition that wants to be involving, creative and cozy.

"A diverse gestalt, like all gestalts of perception. Constructionsimultaneously dispersed (radically different elements) and synthetic."
